Dear friends,
This software was inspired by a summer evening, spent teaching this classic dice and scorecard game to my young children. Their enthusiasm for the game
encouraged me to create a diceless, paperless version that would generate pseudo-random rolls, automate the scoring and
enforce the rules. This allows the youngest kids, even those with minimal math skills, to play without adult help.
Kids love it. Adults will find it a robust and full featured version of the classic.
I am glad to share with you a challenging and fun game. Both skill and luck are required to consistently score high in a
series of games. Try your luck! Enjoy!

Yacht! Summer Evening Edition. v1.01b
A classic dice scorecard game in which strategy, skill and luck are combined in the perfect proportion.
Alternately frustrating and rewarding, always entertaining, this game will have everyone from 5 to 105 shouting: "Yacht! See!"
Now this classic has emerged from it's chrysalis to become fleeting electrons on your computer.
Kids can easily play the intuitive interface. Rules are enforced automatically.
All scores, in a series of games played, each session, can be displayed.
Written in HTML and Javascript, web authors are welcome to include, alter or re-brand the game for their site, (see documentation for restrictions).
Don't give up on paper and dice, but do try this free digital thumb-twiddler.
The only thing you have to lose is the time spent clicking your mouse.
